An ardent devotee of Rama and one of the Chiranjeevi’s, Hanuman, is the son of the wind-god “Vayu”. In Sanskrit, ‘Hanu’ signifies ‘Jaw’ and ‘Man’ signifies ‘Distorted’. No big surprise, Hanuman’s jaw as a child was distorted by as a matter of fact Lord Indra who had utilized his vajra (thunderclap) against Anjaneya, who accepting the sun as a matured mango and even went to follow it up in the sky. It was there in the sky that Lord Indra had utilized his vajra which tossed Hanuman straight on the Earth, harming his jaw until the end of time.
In Kaliyuga, Hanuman is considered the most powerful deity. Even in Jyotish Remedies, Hanuman is considered as the pill for every sort of ill. He is the most powerful diety because of his following qualities:
1. Cheeranjivi
Cheeranjivi means Immortal in English. This implies that hanuman is among the 8 immortals in Vedic Culture who will remain forever in each and every Yugas. This omnipresence of Hanuman makes him available to his worshipper in any given period of time.
2. Protector and Rescuer
If you see the pattern of every dieties, every gods and goddesses willl give you pwer and strength to fight against the problem but there is only one deity who will literally pluck you out of the problem itself and that is none other than Hanuman. Mythology
Ravana, the ruler of Lanka, had become too powerful and crushed all the Devas bringing all the grahas (planets in soothsaying) under his influence. He kept these planets smothered underneath his foot. At the point when his oldest child, Indrajit, was going to be conceived he powerfully kept all the grahas in the favourable astrological position. The Devas were concerned that if Ravana’s child was brought into the world in an ideal visionary position, he will be strong. So they asked all the grahas (planets) to move from the ideal position. Nonetheless, they couldn’t escape from the trap of Ravana.
Shani consented to help gave he had the option to look upon Ravana’s face. There is a prevalent view that Shani Drishti, or Shani’s look, is just about as dangerous as his position. Shani is accepted to project a hostile stare and this causes a predicament. The Devas looked for Saint Narada’s assistance to dispense Shani’s Drishti on Ravana. Narada arrived at Ravana’s royal residence and saw Shani and different planets under the feet of Ravana. Narada praised Ravana’s victory over the grahas and suggested that he should stamp on their chest as this will be Ravana’s true symbol of victory and not on their back as he is doing now.
Ravana agreed to Narada’s observation and immediately got the planets turned around. As Shani turned around, his glance fell on Ravana’s face and thus kick-started his hardships. Ravana understood the ploy, got enraged and imprisoned Shani. He locked him up in a tiny dark cell that had no opening.
Following quite a long while, when Lord Hanuman showed up in Lanka – as a messenger from Shree Ram to Mata Sita, he heard Shani’s cry from a dull cell. Hanuman tore open the jail and protected Shani. Shani said thanks to Hanuman for protecting him and offered help as a trade-off. As a boon, Hanuman asked Shani not to trouble or cast an evil eye on his devotees. To which Shani agreed. From that day people started worshipping Hanuman to escape or nullify the effects of Shani’s Drishti.

Brahmachari
Hanuman is the brahmachari diety, meaning he is the celibate force who has the self-control to attain the ultimate truth. In the yuga, where humans get blind in lust, desires, and lack of self-control, Hanuman is a perfect diety to be worshipped.
Bestower of eight Siddhis and nine Nidhis to his devotees
Hanuman is the provider of ashta siddhis(8 siddhis) and nine nidhis.
Siddhis (Sanskrit: सिद्धि siddhi; fulfillment, accomplishment) are material, paranormal, supernatural, or otherwise magical powers, abilities, and attainments that are the products of yogic advancement through sādhanās such as meditation and yoga. seven of the eight classical siddhis (Ashta Siddhi) or eight great perfections are:
Aṇimā: the ability to become smaller than the smallest, reducing one’s body to the size of an atom or even become invisible.
Mahimā: the ability to become infinitely large, expanding one’s body to an infinitely large size.
Laghimā: the ability to become weightless or lighter than air.
Prāpti: the ability to instantaneously travel or be anywhere at will.
Prākāmya: the ability to achieve or realize whatever one desires.
Īśiṭva: the ability to control nature, individuals, organisms, etc. Supremacy over nature and ability to force influence upon anyone.
Vaśiṭva: the ability to control all material elements or natural forces.
The eighth is given as either:
Kāma-avasayitva (per Kṣemarāja and Vyasa): satisfaction, suppression of desire, or (as Yatrakāmāvasāyitva) wishes coming true.
Garimā (per the Rāmānanda Sampradāya): the ability to become infinitely heavy and be immovable by anyone or anything.
According to Amarakosha, the Nine nidhis are:
Mahapadma “great lotus flower”
Padma “lotus flower”
Shankha “conch”
Makara “crocodile”
Kachchhapa “tortoise”
Kumud “a particular precious stone”
Kunda “jasmine”
Nila “sapphire”
Kharva “dwarf”
Healer of diseases, pains, and sorrows
नासै रोग हरै सब पीरा।जपत निरंतर हनुमत बीरा।।
As told in Hanuman Chalisa by Tulsidas, Chanting Hanuman Chalisa on daily basis will remove all the diseases. illness, pains, and sorrows. This is the reason why Hanuman is known by the name ” Sankat Mochan” where Sankat means Trouble and Mochan means Remover.
The qualities of Hanuman are more than even mentioned here. But the point here is, HANUMAN is the pill for every kind of ill to humans.
